Originally from Atlanta, GA, Sherrod has had a passion for social entrepreneurship since he was little. More specifically, he is passionate about the intersection between business and education and currently has a nonprofit geared towards assisting students with the college application process. Additionally, he launched his own consulting

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Sherrod has had a passion for social entrepreneurship since he was little. More specifically, he is passionate about the intersection between business and education and currently has a nonprofit geared towards assisting students with the college application process. Additionally, he launched his own consulting business, The Crum Advisory, to assist individuals with reaching their professional goals and progressing their entrepreneurial ventures. As a Business Administration major and Social & Economic Justice Minor, he aspires to be a serial entrepreneur and open his own residential charter school someday. He also hopes to ultimately make UNC a more inclusive environment for Black students.

Originally from Matteson, Illinois, Kene's interest in entrepreneurship stems from the fact that there are not enough successful and long-term black and/or female business owners at the national and international level. As a Psychology major and Entrepreneurship Minor, Kene is very interested in learning the keys to build a successful bus

Originally from Matteson, Illinois, Kene's interest in entrepreneurship stems from the fact that there are not enough successful and long-term black and/or female business owners at the national and international level. As a Psychology major and Entrepreneurship Minor, Kene is very interested in learning the keys to build a successful business to not only start her own, but to also help others do the same. In helping others establish their business, this will increase generational wealth within black communities. Kene specializes in branding strategy and content development for small businesses and does freelance graphic design work. She is well-versed in developing marketing content and logos for small businesses.

Originally from Atlanta, GA and of Haitian Descent, Gabrielle aspires to see black individuals have a chance to pursue their dreams of running a business. She believes that pursuing entrepreneurship not only increases work ethic but creates a more well-rounded individual in social and professional settings. As a Biology Major and AAAD Min

Originally from Atlanta, GA and of Haitian Descent, Gabrielle aspires to see black individuals have a chance to pursue their dreams of running a business. She believes that pursuing entrepreneurship not only increases work ethic but creates a more well-rounded individual in social and professional settings. As a Biology Major and AAAD Minor, she aspires to bridge the gap in access to health care for minority individuals. Gabrielle is also passionate about celebrating her heritage and increasing access to professional opportunities for minority students. Gabrielle has also launched her own clothing brand centered around celebrating Haitian heritage and providing affordable clothing options for UNC students.

Originally from Fayetteville, NC, Jordan is interested in entrepreneurship because she believes that we can create a strong community of black business leaders that can fuel the economy and generate wealth for the future generations. She is also a firm believer in being your own boss, and creating the change you want to be. Creating your 

Originally from Fayetteville, NC, Jordan is interested in entrepreneurship because she believes that we can create a strong community of black business leaders that can fuel the economy and generate wealth for the future generations. She is also a firm believer in being your own boss, and creating the change you want to be. Creating your own brand is hard work, and with the proper dedication, you can change the world. As an English and Journalism Double Major, Jordan plans to attend Law School with goals of providing affordable representation for marginalized communities of color. Also, Jordan is a licensed nail technician and is considered the "go-to" for nails on UNC's campus. She prides herself in providing accessible nail care services for underrepresented communities and empowering women to achieve their goals.

Furthermore, Ajani grew up watching his parents immigrate from Jamaica with nothing and seeing them evolve into successful entrepreneurs in the real estate industry. As

Furthermore, Ajani grew up watching his parents immigrate from Jamaica with nothing and seeing them evolve into successful entrepreneurs in the real estate industry. As a Sports Administration Major and Coaching Minor, Ajani hopes to diversify the sports industry and make it a more inclusive career field for minority individuals. Not only is Ajani well-versed in the fields of Sports Administration and Real Estate, but he is also passionate about bridging the gap to educational resources for African-American students. He strives to make UNC a safe space for entrepreneurs of color and provide access to professional resources for the black student population at UNC.

Originally from Kannapolis, North Carolina, Jamal has had an interest in social entrepreneurship since he was a young teenager. He aspires to utilize entrepreneurship to create social change and make the world a better place. He believes that the best way to give back to the black community is to invest in them. As a Sport Administration

He aspires to utilize entrepreneurship to create social change and make the world a better place. He believes that the best way to give back to the black community is to invest in them. As a Sport Administration and Psychology Double Major, Jamal plans to launch initiatives centered around promoting mental health awareness for athletes. Additionally, Jamal currently owns his a photography business which provides affordable photography services for students at UNC and individuals within the community. His services are frequently utilized by small business owners and students looking to improve their brand. He strives to be a resource for his community and be the voice for the voiceless.
